XII Fair of Active Leisure and Accessible Sports “R-EVOLUCIONA-T” | Málaga
The XII Fair of Active Leisure and Accessible Sports “R-EVOLUCIONA-T”, will be held next Thursday, February 22 2018, at the IES Rosaleda from 9:30 am until 1:30pm. The Accessibility department of the City of Málaga works for another year on a project that aims to promote the practice of sport in people with functional diversity and create a recreational space within the capabilities of all.

More than 30 associations from Malaga will be present at the school’s center and approximately 500 people are expected to participate.
It is planned to be an educational, dynamic and fun fair aimed at the participants in order to develop all their skills and enjoy a day of sporty fun, in addition to raising awareness of those institutions and associations that assist in the daily lives of the various groups involved .
On the day the various groups of people with functional diversity in Málaga will meet at the IES Rosaleda, in an exercise to raise awareness of the importance of sports for all people – regardless of their physical limits.
The Accessibility Area will be busy with the activities of Boccia (a game similar to boules or petanque) and Basketball – both in a wheelchair. In addition, more information about f the municipal programs of Adapted Sports “Da el relevo” and of active tourism “Málaga Ciudad Accesible” will be presented.
Throughout the morning, physical-sports and leisure activities, association stands, workshops, talks, shows, presentations, radio, etc. will be combined.
In addition, the athletes Carmen Herrera, Lorenzo Ribes, Carlos Soler, Christian Jongeneel, Borja Vivas, Javier Mérida, Ignacio González, Jorge Otalecu (ADEMADIS) and Víctor Valero (AMDDA) will participate. There will also be the Málaga C.F. Foundation, Dr. Equus (hippotherapy) and the appearance, among others, of Manuel Sarriá.
The XII Active Leisure Fair and Accessible Sport Fair is an initiative of the Ciclos de Jardinería, Cocina y Madera; the Departamento de Actividades Culturales y Extraescolares (DACE) and the Ciclo Superior de Turismo del IES Rosaleda.
Colaborating with the Youth and Accessibility departments of the city council in Málaga are: the Junta Municipal de Distrito 5 Palma Palmilla, the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, the Programa Municipal de Concienciación “Málaga como te quiero”, Málaga C.F and its Fundación, Ortopedia Eurodiscap, Centro de Ciencia Principia, Museo Aula del Mar Alborania, Unicaja Baloncesto, Club Atletismo Málaga, Nutrisport, Avoi, Tiburones Fútbol de Mesa, SCA Europeo, Kedeké, Ocioaventura, Decathlon Mijas, Juguetón, Cruz Roja, Horno de Leña Martín and Rafaelito y Bauhaus.
