Top autumn events in the Balearic Islands
Here we showcase just a small selection of autumn events in the Balearic Islands. Life seems to be returning for the Islands, with tourists flocking back to enjoy all manner of festivities.
Autumn is the ideal season to discover the Balearic Islands. Cultural attractions, fine food and wine await, as well as many local festivities which offer the perfect excuse to discover the archipelago’s inland villages, all eager to show off their best produce. For soft adventure and sports enthusiasts, autumn is ideal to explore the thousands of kilometres of hiking and cycling trails that traverse the islands.
IBIZA
Ibiza’s Trail
When: 26, 27 & 28 November
What: The Trail Ibiza/Ultra Trail Ibiza returns to the White Island once again. The three-day non-profit event is suitable for experienced runners looking to take on their next challenge which traverses through some of Ibiza’s most spectacular landscapes. The organiser, Club Trideporte, donated the 2019 profits to Respirarlia, a nonprofit entity that supports a group of children with cystic fibrosis.
MALLORCA
Palma celebrates “Open House”
When: 6-7 November 2021
What: The architecture festival is set to celebrate its first edition in Palma where visitors will have the opportunity to partake in this event free of charge and admire the 80 emblematic buildings that will open their doors during this special “open house” period: all highlighting the best of Palma’s architecture and culture. Organised by the famed architects Eduard Yuste and Daniel Gallego, the event will also present visitors with various activities, like guided bike tours, a photography competition and children’s activities.
MENORCA
Menorca’s Vuelta Ciclista – an event for bike lovers
When: 29, 30, 31st October
What: The 19th edition of the Vuelta Cicloturista will feature three days of exciting competition all over the island of Menorca, passing through points as emblematic as the historical Camí d’en Kane or the winding mountains of S’Enclusa and Monte Toro. A 212-km challenge that tackles some of Menorca’s most spectacular routes. The participants can sample some typical products from the island at a tasting event on the evening of the competition.

Balearic Islands at World Travel Market 2021
The representatives of the Balearic Islands are looking forward to attending World Travel Market 2021 as tourism starts to bounce back. The archipelago comprising Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera will feature at the leading travel trade show, together with a number of their key tourism partners.
