Spain Travel | A hotel with a difference
We love a mini break, and we love a hotel with a difference even more. Combine stunning surroundings, luxury accommodation, and a ethical footprint and we’re happier still. This woodland hotel 20 minutes inland on the Costa Blanca ticks all those boxes and more.

Vivood Landscape Hotel is a group of prefabricated woodland cabins located approximately halfway between Alicante and Jávea. The 25 cabin suites are erected on stilts, enabling the occupants to feel closer to nature but while also being aware of, and reducing, the impact on the environment. Each of the cabins are constructed offsite in their entirety before being transported to their final location and placed on the carefully placed stilts. Each of the cabins are connected by a series of pathways, allowing easy access to the restaurant, lounge bar, infinity swimming pool and the other cabins.
The location on the side of the Guadalest Valley was chosen specifically for its amazing views, and the cabins each enjoy this to its fullest. Each is furnished to a high standard, and four include a Jacuzzi bath so that couples can enjoy a glass of bubbles while soaking in more bubbles.
The hotel is the brainchild of Daniel Mayo, and architect, and a number of his peers. The concept was to create a sustainable hotel resort using modular architecture, ensuring a seamless blend with the rural settings.
This woodland hotel is a real escape from the day to day grind, and while being luxurious it also doffs a respectful cap to its environment. This is an adults only hotel, already making it ideal for couples who wish to escape from daily life, family and work.
Each cabin comes with wifi, private bathroom, bedroom, living room… and a television if those breathtaking views simply aren’t enough for you.
Prices start at €185 per room per night.
