Canary Islands

The Canary Islands, also known as the Canaries (Spanish: Canarias), are a group of islands just 100km off the northwest coast of Africa.

The weather in the Canaries is the major attraction for many visitors… as the temperatures are fairly even all year round. However the scenery can dramatically vary with everything from the deep dark volcanoes of Lanzarote and El Hierro, to the white sands of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, and the lush greenery of Tenerife and La Gomera.

The Canaries are legally recognized as a part of Spain, although geographically they are much closer to the African Continent. The islands include the following (alphabetically)
