Want to do a Google search with your phone? Live in Tossa de Mar? This four hour workshop will teach you the basic functions of mobile devices and how they work.
Modern technology can be baffling to most of us at the best of times. Although the youngsters seem to take it all in their stride, it is a little more tricky for older people who are not as comfortable perhaps with these new-fangled phones.
Tricky oir not, smartphones are going to be here for quite some considerable time. They have opened up the world of communication beyond making phone calls and sending texts. Now you can browse the internet, chat in real time by text or video with your loved ones and contacts, get involved on Social Media, or even start swiping on Tinder if that’s your thing.
The two courses in Tossa de Mar will teach you how to save contacts to the phone book, how to use the calendar, set an alarm, customise the home screen and access the Internet, as well as download useful applications by creating an email account.
The classes are for Catalan speakers aged 55 and above who want to be able to make the most of their smartphones.
