San Animal Santuario raft race
Fancy something a little different? The San Animal Santuario raft race takes place on Sunday June 21 2015 at Chiringuito Canal Nautico in San Juan de Los Terreros from noon.
It is only €10 to enter a raft, and with proceeds going to the San Animal Santuario, you’re helping a great cause too! All rafts must be home made with a minimum of two passengers and a maximum of four.
If you’d like to get involved… drop an email to pete@sananimal.org or give them a bell on 968 419 384 or 630 528 464.
Do trot along and join in the fun. Of course it’s even better if you enter a raft. But if you can’t get there – perhaps sponsor a raft or make a donation to the Santuario.

While we have your attention – why not take a look at Barney and Clyde.
Can anyone give these absolutely gorgeous and very handsome brothers an amazing home? They are both around six months old, both are neutered, very affectionate and love cuddles and play.
They are the perfect pair to have in your home. They are currently in a foster home but can’t stay there any longer, would love a home to call their own. They have been with San Animal Santuario for some time now and urgently need to be rehomed!

San Animal is a Registered Animal Charity which strives to make a difference to the lives of at least some of the abandoned dogs and cats in the Aguilas/Lorca area in Spain. Their main goals are to try to find the best way to take in and care for abandoned or injured animals, provide them with food, shelter, care, plus veterinary treatment including sterilization, whilst trying to find them good new homes. They also aim to educate people on the responsible care of animals.
If you share their vision and would like to help make a difference, there are lots of ways you can join in, either by Volunteering, becoming a Foster carer, a Supporter or adopting an animal. Please visit our website atwww.sananimal.org for more information.
