Ruta de Tapas Almería City 2024
The information for the Ruta de Tapas Almería City 2024 has been released and we are very pleased to be able to share the list of participating establishments for you on this website. It’s a fabulous way to explore some amazing places to eat.
For anyone that doesn’t know, a “Ruta de Tapa” is a day or more when a town/city’s eateries present a special tapa to enjoy. These are usually at a special price and are a great way to showcase an establishment’s culinary skills.
What we try to do here is work from one end of a town to the other over the course of a day or more to enjoy each one (there are always too many for us to do all in one day or evening – most bodies simply can’t take that much food and drink but hey, you do you ha ha). Often you will be able to rate the tapas and the establishments online and the winning establishment will win a prize, plus a prize for a customer drawn at random too.
The city of Almería will be holding its Ruta de Tapas from June 6 to 23 2024. It has been organised by the Asociación de Hostelería de Almería (ASHAL) as always.
Coincidentally, the Día Mundial de La Tapa (World Tapas Day) falls smack bang in the middle on June 16. If you want to make your own tapas at home rerally easily – you can do that by nabbing the Spain Buddy Cookbook. It will be available for download for a period of time this month. Dozens of eateries in Almería City are signed up to take part in the Ruta de Tapas Almería City 2024… that’s a lot of fabulous tapas!! More may be added nearer the time.
