Palma de Mallorca marathon 2019
The coveted Palma de Mallorca Marathon 2019 will be taking place on the October 13 with a number of local hotels offering special marathon packages including registration, race transfers and accommodation.
Palma Marathon is well known for being one of the most picturesque marathon routes in the whole of Europe offering a breathtaking course which traverses through the Balearic Island capital of Palma and its Old Town, alongside the promenade of Palma Bay following the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and past the emblematic medieval cathedral known as ‘La Seu’.
There are three race options for visitors wishing to participate. The full marathon and half marathon will both begin at 9:00am with a shorter 10k race starting at 9:45am. Participants can enjoy the city’s marathon in Palma’s privileged climate which during October has average temperatures of 20°C. Visitors can enjoy authentic Mallorcan hospitality as well as a range of events taking place preceding the race day such as a breakfast run at 10:00am on Friday 11th and a kids run at 5:00pm on Saturday 12th.
Palma offers frequent flight connections and a wide range of accommodation options as well as plenty of services for participants and accompanying visitors. For 2019, the city offers a range of hotel packages for varying budgets including event registration, race transfers and accommodation.
