Occupancy up for Costa Blanca Hotels
Good news for Costa Blanca hotels because occupancy for the first fortnight of October has risen dramatically compared to the same period last year.
According to the latest figures from HOSPEC, hotel occupancy for the Costa Blanca (excluding Benidorm) sat at 67.3 per cent for the first fortnight of October 2015. However, the same period in 2016 shows an occupancy percentage of 81.1, a rise of 13.8 per cent. The percentage for the applicable period but this time including Benidorm came to 90.3 per cent!
Five star hotels saw 65.4 per cent, Four stars saw 87.4 per cent, Three stars was 80.3 per cent and there was 70 per cent occupancy for Two stars.
