We first met Rachel Webb through a busy Writers and Bloggers group on Facebook. Rachel writes for a number of blogs, as well as having a rural casa for holidaymakers too. Enjoy reading!
Who came with you?
Hubby and two small sons
Where in Spain do you live now?
Near the olive growing capital . Martos, Jaén
How are you with speaking Spanish?
Most people say I’m fluent, my sons (who are bilingual) say “nooo” – I know I’ve a looong way to go yet.
If you could change one thing about Spain… what would that be?
Dropping below 5ºC in winter and the endless paperwork.
What is the best thing about living in Spain?
Blue sky, sunshine, friendly people, relaxing lifestyle
What is your favourite Spanish dish?
I can’t possibly choose only one! But salmorejo, jamón with baby broad beans (when in season and fresh) and revuelto with anything are some of my favourites.
What is the predominant nationality of your friends in Spain?
If you won the Euromilliones – would you still live where you currently are?
Yes, but we’d finish it!
If you had to describe yourself as a sandwich filling… what would you be?
Soft and mouldably stubborn.
Right – now is the chance to tell us all about your business/website/blog if you have one (or more of course).
Go for your life!
I have a holiday home in Jaen province near my home – Casa El Reguelo and write the websites Andalucia Explorer, Luxury Spain Travel. I also have a growing portfolio of boutique hotels in Spain at Only Spain.
Elle, along with Alan, is the owner of Spain Buddy and the busy web design business – Spain Web Design by Gandy-Draper.
Born a “Norverner”, she then spent most of her life “Dann Saff” before moving to Spain in 2006. Elle’s loves are Alan, the internet, dogs, good food, and dry white wine – although not necessarily in that order.
