March Expat Interview No 4 – Rachel Bovte
Our latest interview (although she actually isn’t an expat) is with the lovely Rachel Bovte who lives in Fuengirola. Rachel is a busy bee, and always has a number of projects on the go – you can read all about them below.
When did you move to Spain, and where from?
I’ve always lived here! :)
Where in Spain do you live now?
In Fuengirola (Malaga).
Do you work? As what?
Yes, I am the owner, graphic designer and community manager at We Love Costa del Sol.
How are you with speaking Spanish?
I’m bilingual :)
If you could change one thing about Spain… what would that be?
Its politic system.
What is the best thing about living in Spain?
The weather, the people, the sea… It’s lovely!
What is your favourite Spanish dish?
The Gazpacho!
What is the predominant nationality of your friends in Spain?
Spanish.
If you won the Euromilliones – would you still live where you currently are?
Yes, indeed. I love living here.
If a movie was made about your life – who would play you?
Mmmm… I don’t know! Julia Roberts? I usually smile and laugh a lot! ;)
If you had to describe yourself as a sandwich filling… what would you be?
The cheese…

My website is a Cultural Magazine about the Costa del Sol. In it we write about local artists, artisans and musicians, gastronomy, healthy lifestyle and nightlife. Our purpose is to rediscover the Costa del Sol for all our followers and readers!
