Kiara needs a home and is the first dog to be featured in my Billy Boxer’s Corner. You can find out more about my patch HERE, but don’t go there yet – please have a read about Kiara first. Could you please give her a home? Or at least share this with all your friends?
Kiara was dumped in the Córdoba dog pound at the age of 11. She had been used for breeding litter after litter. Kiara was very sick and depressed and if we hadn’t have got her she would have been put to sleep, or just died of old age in there.
Kiara is good with other dogs and loves children.
After recovering from her very emotional ordeal of just being dumped, she now has a spring in her step and loves to play – almost puppy like.
Kiara needs a special diet as she had pancreatitis when we first saved her.
About the breed
Boxers are a playful and boisterous breed. They are great around children and other dogs usually… although supervision is always recommended… especially as a dog settles into a new home.
They have very expressive faces and make some very human noises (in addition to breaking wind and belching).
They do need exercise, but not an inordinate amount. If your new boxer has a tail, you may wish to move any valuable possessions a couple of feet up in the air to avoid breakages. They really are very waggy!
