Jardín de Cactus
Jardín de Cactus is located centrally on Lanzarote, so is fairly easy to get to by car or on a tour.
Of course plant lovers will enjoy this place the most – but don’t discount the idea just because you’re not greenfingered. Lanzarote’s Jardín de Cactus is an oasis of tranquility with various pathways meandering around the plantlife, windmills and art sculptures.
César Manrique was responsible for the design of this gem too, utlising his faviurite colours: black, white, blue and green. The garden houses a collection of more than 450 species… more than 4500 prickly specimens in a beautiful layout. It is well worth a visit and should be enjoyed be anyone, regardless of whether they like plants or not.
