IV Festival de Rumba i Música Catalana de Tossa
Get ready for the IV Festival de Rumba i Música Catalana de Tossa. The event will be held June 28 to 30 2019 and includes free concerts and a vinyl record fair.
This is the fourth edition of the event, which has been growing in popularity year after year.
This year will see free concerts featuring such artists as Buhos and Los Manolos, the popular vinyl record fair will be held
In keeping with previous years, the beach concerts will be top class. “Los Manolos” and “Rumba Tres” will perform on Friday 28, while “Buhos”, “Portobello”, “We are not in” and “Dj Solde” will perform on Saturday 29. Everything starts at 7:00 p.m. It should be noted that all the concerts are free, which clearly differentiates this festival from other festivals of the Costa Brava.
The activities, however, will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. on Paseo Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer with the vinyl record fair, focussing on rumba and Catalan music until 8:00 p.m. The fair can be visited throughout the entire weekend. This year’s edition of the festival will be closed with a “vermouth rumbero” on Sunday 30 at 12:00 a.m. on the Paseo Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer.
Councilor for Festivities, Ignasi Sallés, wished to emphasise “the importance of the artists that participate in this festival year after year” and concluded that “we have achieved a reference, a family focussed, a different and unique festival where the beach becomes an idyllic place. We are proud of the work that has been carried out so far and we thank all the collaborators and sponsors for their help to make this festival what it is”.
