Happy 10th birthday to F.A.C.E.
Along with 70 of its friends and supporters, F.A.C.E. (Fundraising in Arboleas, Caring for Everyone) celebrated its 10th Birthday on Saturday May 12 at the Bar Kubatin, underneath the Hostel Meson in Arboleas, Almería.
Happy 10th birthday to F.A.C.E.Guests were welcomed with glasses of orange juice, Bucks Fizz or Cava before sitting down to a meal starting with fresh salad, a choice of second and third courses and finishing of with a tasty desert. This was accompanied by a choice of wines on the table.
Entertainment throughout the evening was provided by Barrington Dubois, known for Soul, Motown & Reggae. However, Barrington can sing all genres of music and travelled down from the Valencia Region especially for this event and very soon had everyone on the dance floor.
A large, unique, cake was also baked for the occasion featuring the F.A.C.E. logo and this was sliced up and shared by all present.
A small aside of the evening was a raffle of 10 prizes some of which were donated by sponsors of F.A.C.E., which helped to raise the charities coffers by €233.
Through this 10th Anniversary year F.A.C.E. would like to organise at least a minimum of 10 fundraising events of which four have already been achieved.
