Handsome men in Spain – Pablo Alborán
Pablo Alborán, born as Pablo Moreno de Alborán Ferrándiz in Málaga in 1989, is a well known singer in Spain and the winner of several awards. He was born to parents Elena Ferrándiz Martínez and Salvador Moreno de Alborán Peralta (architect) and has two siblings: Casilda Alborán and Salvador Alborán.
Pablo was always headed for a career attached to music. He learned to play piano, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, and acoustic guitar from a very young age and attended singing lessons with professional artists in Málaga and Madrid.
Aged just 12, Pablo composed his first songs, “Amor de Barrio” (Neighbourhood Love) and “Desencuentro” (Disagreement) both of which were included a decade later on his debut album.
In Málaga, Pablo earned the nickname El Blanco Moreno (The White Moreno), linking his pale skin to his family name.
Following an recording made in 2011, a music producer called Diana Navarro spotted him and snapped him up, becoming his mentor and friend.
While compiling his first album, Pablo uploaded several songs to You Tube which gained him a fast, loyal following including international superstar Kelly Rowland who declared, “I’m in love with Pablo Alboran!”
He has gone on to have a large number of top-selling singles and his albums always shoot twards the top of the music charts.
Pablo confessed an extreme dislike for WhatsApp, explaining that things can often be misunderstood leadng to disagreements.

- Pablo has been nominated for Best Latin Pop Album Grammy for 2016 for his album, Terral
- He has been nominated every year for Grammies since 2011. Perhaps 2016 can be his year to win.
- On 19 December 2011, Pablo received the 2011 Best New Act award in Los Premios 40 Principales
- Just a few days ago (December 14 2015) he was also nominated for a Goya award for Best Song
- On December 12 2015, in Madrid, Pablo was the worthy winner of two Ballantynes 40 awards, for “Best Artist or Group” and “Best Song”
Pablo Alborán – personal Life
Brown-eyed Pablo admits to being a lover of licorice, popcorn, and Nutella, though not all at once. He claims not to care too much about his physical appearance (easy to say when you’re as good looking as he is) but he loves to hang out in jeans and scarves and loves the colour black.
He said that if he could change one thing about himself, it would be his height. At 1.74m, he would love to be taller although we don’t think that’s too shabby at all.
A lover of football, Málaga is his favourite team, although he also enjoys watching Barca play and his favourite player is Messi.
Pablo’s mother is French, and he has been very vocal in the events after the Paris attacks including holding a sign, No to Terrorism, on stage during his tour.
As far as romance goes, Pablo is a very private individual. One thing’s for sure, he’s handsome enough to be the pinup for many a man or woman.
