FACE Christmas Market 2016
The FACE Christmas Market 2016 will be held on Friday December 2 from 6pm. For the third year running the market will be held at the Arboleas Feria ground in front of the Ayuntamiento and it will be inside an enormous, specially erected marquee.
Last year’s FACE Christmas MarketF.A.C.E. (Fundraising in Arboleas, Caring for Everyone) are pleased to announce that there will be a vast variety of stalls with wares including perfume, jewellery, kitchenware and television android boxes in addition to the normal traditional Christmas cards and wrapping paper and those last minute Christmas gifts that need to be sent to the United Kingdom.
Father Christmas has been contacted and it is hoped that he will be in attendance, even though this is his busiest time of the year.
In addition there will be a Christmas Tombola and a draw will take place for the F.A.C.E. Christmas Raffle which has a main prize of €200. Tickets for this draw are already in sale with some of the F.A.C.E. Committee and at the Sol Yoga Centre in La Cinta. They are priced at €4 for five tickets.
Refreshments will be available including mince pies and F.A.C.E’s famous mulled wine, which is made to a special recipe by Committee Member Pauline Marshall.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by Smooth fm Radio’s Ray Peters and Jack Savage, and Carrie’s Dusty Boots will also be exhibitioning a Christmas Selection of Line Dances.
Throughout the evening F.A.C.E. will be giving Christmas presents in the form of donations to various groups of both National and Local organisations.
All monies raised by this event will also be used to make further donations to local charities throughout the local area.
