Exploring Spain on a budget is easily achievable, and one of the many reasons that European visitors head to this beautiful country. With low cost flights and bargains galore, your trip doesn’t have to break the bank.
Travelling to Spain
There are several websites that can help find those cheap flight bargains. For example, skyscanner.net is a search engine that links to many of the major airlines. You simply pop in your dates and destination and it will return a list of flights available to you. For the best bargains, select “Cheapest month” and “Spain” in the search fields and you can pick up a bargain. Of course this is better for those people who can be really flexible with their dates and don’t mind which part of the country they travel to.
Accommodation in Spain
Websites such as Booking.com and Broadway Travel are super for finding bargain accommodation for your trip to Spain. Once you’ve got your flights booked, these websites can give you a list of places to stay.
Another avenue to explore is housesitting. There are many residents of Spain that prefer to have someone look after their home and/or pets while they are away. It’s a win-win situation for both parties. They have the added security and peace of mind while they are away, while you get to enjoy exploring from a base in a “home style” environment.
Transport in Spain
Public transport is pretty good in most of Spain, but many of us prefer the flexibility of a hire car while planning to go on a tour. Again there are many websites that can provide bargains for your car hire. We recommend Rental Cars Connect which has oodles of deals for you. For public transport, do a quick Google search for “Autobuses Madrid” (swapping Madrid for whatever area you are visiting). Watch those spellings though. We regularly receive emails from people who need help… telling us they can’t find what they need, when they’ve simply spelled the name of the area incorrectly.
Food and drink
Some areas of Spain, such as Granada Province, offer free tapas with a drink. If you like to sit and people-watch while lazing away your day – then find yourself a bar with an outside terrace… enjoy some chilled wine and a free dish of something really tasty too! Some places will give you their choices of tapas, while others allow you to choose from a fixed menu. If you have any dietary needs – be sure to let the serving staff know.
Get a loan
If you are planning to go on a tour and travelling then you may wish to consider a short-term loan. This helps you spread out your payments – meaning you don’t have to wait quite so long to get away. Some financial institutions make possible that the applicant can obtain the long term loans without too many complications. You can also able to repay your loaned amount by easy monthly installments at a very low rate of interest. With the help of travel loans you will able to fulfill your dream and spend your vacations at your desired place with your family and friends. Many loan organisations work with established financial institutions offering fast easy loans that will deposit the money in your bank within 24 hours. Of course we strongly recommend that you read the small print and check the repayment terms so that you don’t get caught out. Read more.
