Dames enjoy their garden party
The Dames in Spain (Mojacar) held their Garden Party on Tuesday May 19 at the home of Ann Gregory. The Mojacar Mayoress Rosa Marie Cano opened the event where more than 100 people were in attendance.
It was a fun day with games and lunch provided and the feedback from the attendees was extremely positive. There was a presentation from the Chairperson Irene Bensen of cheques for €1000 to Rosa Vicente President for the Mojácar Red Cross and €500 to Fanny Davies for Stepping Stones.
First Prize in the grand raffle was a coffee machine and was won by Ann Watson. The second prize, an electric plancha, was won by Sandra Moorhouse, while Keith White picked up the deluxe hamper, the third prize.
