Established 36 years ago we help people in times of need and particularly in crisis. We have 3 office with main centre in San Miguel which also offers mobility hire equipment and a charity shop. We have 1700 members who receive exceptional benefits for an annual fee of 10 euros. However, we help people whether members or not. Our welfare officer is able to offer advice and information, particularly on benefits available from the UK and here in Spain. We have Friendship Centres in both la marina and la zenia, diabetic group, parkinson group, market stall at Camoamor on a Thursday and a hospital visiting team. Also, a 24 hour non medical emergency help line. In 2017 we were able to donate 30,500 euros to both individuals and likeminded charities. We work closely with other charities in the area and set up a CARE group to ensure that working together we can help to support those in need of our help in the community.
