The most common questions I receive are:
- How do I get back in touch with previously paid into pensions?
- Are my pensions safe?
- What will I receive when I retire?
- What happens to my pension(s) if I die before or after retirement?
UK Pension facts commonly unknown by clients:
- Over 80% of UK corporate pension schemes are underfunded, meaning your pension could have a shortfall.
- Commonly UK pensions are taxed at 55% on death of the holder, and then terminate on the death of the spouse/partner.
- Pensions transferred outside of the UK are 100% inheritable, meaning after death the entire fund is inheritable by your spouse/partner/beneficiary.
