Beautiful Spanish women – Blanca Suárez
Blanca Suárez, born in Madrid, is probably best known for her performances in television series El Internado and El barco, although she is no stranger to movies including Pedro Almodóvar’s The Skin I Live In.

Blanca began acting in 2007 when she landed the role of Julia Medina in the Antena 3 series El internado. She remained with the series until it finished in 2010. At the same time, Blanca appeared in the movies Eskalofrío, Cowards, Fuga de cerebros and El cónsul de Sodoma, as well as in the short films Universos and Hemisferio.
In 2010, Suárez had her first major role, starring opposite Mario Casa in Carne de neón. Suárez then joined Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya in Pedro Almodóvar’s The Skin I Live In, for which she earned critical acclaim. Also in 2010, Blanca appeared in the music video for Ladrones’ song “Estoy prohibido.”
Heading back to television, Blanca landed a role in El Barco which aired for two years. She additionally starred in two movies that premiered at the 2012 Málaga Film Festival — the comedy drama Pelayos, along with Daniel Brühl, Lluís Homar and Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and Imanol Uribe’s post-war drama Miel de naranjas, alongside Ángela Molina and Nora Navas.
In 2013, Suárez appeared in Los amantes pasajeros, her second role in a Pedro Almodóvar film. At the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, Blanca was awarded with the Trophée Chopard for Female Relevation of the Year for her work in acting. This was presented to her by Colin Firth.
In 2014, Suárez portrayed Snow White in an episode of the storytelling television series Cuéntame un cuento. In 2015, she starred in the miniseries Los nuestros opposite Hugo Silva, and Perdiendo el Norte opposite her former co-star Yon González. She also starred as Isabella of Portugal in television series Carlos, Rey Emperador.
To be fair, she has become the darling of the small screen.

Personal Life
Blanca dated actor Javier Pereira from 2009 to 2011. She lived with her co-star Miguel Ángel Silvestre from 2011 to 2014 before briefly dating Spanish musician Dani Martín.
