Oh my word, that was so sad to read. What a remarkable lady, she has a huge heart!

Thanks Mary. Be nice to have a happy ending to this one. Sadly, I don’t think it’s coming any time soon x

When we finally make it to Spain (could be the next couple of months), we’ll have to see if we can stop by and over our help in any way.

We’ve only about 5 weeks of experience of working in shelters, but if we can help get things in order for her in any way we’d love to.

The last place had 450+ dogs so about 80 would be a nice manageable amount :)

Dale – that would be fantastic… thank you! Give us a yell nearer the time and we’ll swap numbers/emails etc. xx

That is one of the nicest things I have heard. Well done to Dale for the offer of help, you are a bit of a star!

That was very sad reading and I hope that something good can maybe come out of your writing about her. I hope her health doesn’t get any worse, that would be horrendous for her. All the best Barbara, good luck!

Did you see Costa Almeria News of yesterday? A bit different to your take.

      Yes, I saw it Glynis.

Whatever opinions there are out there I personally find the whole thing quite sad on many levels. However, I do think this is for the best and hope Barbara takes the opportunity to improve her own life as a result. Time will tell!
