APSA Walk 2018
Spain Buddy is very happy to announce the APSA Walk 2018 down here in Almería province – we do love the doggies after all! It takes place on November 11 2018 at 11am from Bar La Cinta, Arboleas.
As always, this promises to be a fun event with dogs and their owners travelling to take part. APSA would love to especially see former APSA doggies that now live in loving forever homes.
The participation cost is just €5 per person (kids free)… a small amount for one person but that can make such a huge difference to APSA and the woofies in its care. Dogs (especially puppies) are abandoned daily in the area… and the volunteers work their fingers to the bone to care for these fluffies and find them new forever homes.
Not got a doggie of your own? Then why not give one of the existing kennel dogs a treat by taking them along instead. You just know they’ll love being out and about. The walk is expected to last about 90 minutes or so.
Oh… and I know it’s not as if you need any extra motivation… but just in case… there will be a super prize for the person who collects the most money via sponsorship!
If you’d like to get involved and join APSA on November 11, you can pick up a sponsor form from the APSA charity Shop in Albox, their stall at Los Llanos market on Saturdays, Cucador market on Wednesdays or contact them direct.
Here’s hoping to say as many doggies and their walkers as possible to support this great event. And don’t forget those doggy poop bags too!
