April Expat Interview No 2 – Lisa Sadleir
We have known Lisa Sadleir, our latest lady to grace the Expat Interview Hotseat, for some time now – and met her online. What Lisa doesn’t know about navigating the paperwork side of things in Spain… simply isn’t worth knowing. Enjoy!

When did you move to Spain, and where from?
About 20 years ago. I graduated University aged 21 and have not looked back since.
Who came with you?
During one of my first seasons working abroad I met my “hubby to be”. We have travelled together ever since.
Where in Spain do you live now?
Mijas, Malaga.
Do you work? As what?
Self employed, workaholic, mother of 2 ;-)
How are you with speaking Spanish?
Fluent.
If you could change one thing about Spain… what would that be?
The bureaucratic system … Spain needs to support new businesses and entrepreneurship.
What is the best thing about living in Spain?
The lifestyle in general! ie. food, climate, traditions, family values.
What is your favourite Spanish dish?
I love a good plate of paella.
What is the predominant nationality of your friends in Spain?
I am lucky to have friends of many nationalities.
If you won the Euromilliones – would you still live where you currently are?
Yes, but maybe a bit further up the hill …
If a movie was made about your life – who would play you?
OMG I didn’t see this one coming. My hubby would like me to say Cameron Diaz (then he’d be married to her) … and she is good at laughing at herself! LOL
If you had to describe yourself as a sandwich filling… what would you be?
Nutella … Tasty, a bit nutty and you can’t get enough of it!
Right – now is the chance to tell us all about your business/website/blog if you have one (or more of course). Go for your life!
