New sport magazine launched highlighting Almería and Murcia
Sport Central is a new English language sport magazine covering Almeria and Murcia. The magazine will focus on sporting events in the two provinces as well as covering all the main national sporting news. The A5 format magazine is available to collect from distribution points throughout the two provinces.
The first issue consists of 32 colourful pages and plans are in place to grow future issues to 64 as well as possible moves to create interactive content to work alongside the paper magazine in the form of apps and video.
The magazine includes a good mix of sporting news including features on La Liga, local clubs, local MotoGP riders and other articles related to Spanish sporting stars. There will also be monthly features on Spanish football stadiums, the history of clubs in the region and throughout Spain, and the sporting links between UK and Spain.
Lee Rickard-Graham, the editor and publisher of Sport Central says, “I am passionate about sport and have been involved with Huércal-Overa Football and Rugby clubs. Sport Central intends to generate more interest in sporting activities in Almería and Murcia. Local newspapers don’t generally cover the regions sports in depth, at best their coverage is just a rerun of last weeks premier league scores. Our intention is to provide much more in depth coverage.”
Keep up with where you can get a copy of the magazine via the Sport Central Facebook page.
