F.A.C.E. (Fundraising in Arboleas, Caring for Everyone) are pleased to announce that their Christmas 2015 market will be held on Friday November 27, starting at 6pm. However this year F.A.C.E will be hosting even bigger and better Christmas Festivities because, additionally, on Sunday November 29, starting at noon, they will be hosting their first ever Christmas Party.

The venue for both events is the fairground in front of the Arboleas Ayuntamiento. Last year there was a problem with the size of marquee provided for the event, but the organisers have been promised that this year’s marquee will be absolutely gigantic, or failing that, there will be two huge marquees provided.

At the Christmas Market, there will be a huge variety of stalls with wares including perfume, jewellery, kitchenware, Christmas cards and wrapping paper, bedding, clothing pet accessories, as well as those last minute Christmas gifts. Also on sale will be F.A.C.E.’s very own 2016 diaries. This is a new venture for F.A.C.E. and they will be on sale for only €4 each although you will have to be quick to get one as only 250 diaries are available, and they are bound to sell out quickly.

Father Christmas has been contacted and it is hoped that he will be in attendance even though this is his busiest time of the year. However he may have to book in at the Hostel Meson as it is also hoped that he will be in attendance at the F.A.C.E. Christmas Party on the Sunday afternoon.

In addition there will be a Christmas tombola and refreshments will be available including mince pies and F.A.C.E.’s famous mulled wine, which is made to a special recipe by Committee Member Pauline Marshall.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by “Carrie’s Dusty Boots” with a Pirates of the Carribean routine and the “Incognito Choir” who will be singing seasonal melodies and Christmas Carols.

On the Sunday afternoon “Carrie’s Dusty Boots” and the “Incognito Choir” will again be in attendance. “Dusty Boots” will perform musical theatre in the shape of “Snow White & the Seven Dusty Dwarfs” There will be a Children’s Fancy Dress Competition, and a Children’s Art Competition. There will also be Face Painting and again refreshments will be available. Smooth FM Radio will be in attendance at both of the events.

Finally the F.A.C.E. Christmas Raffle with a top prize of €200 will be drawn at 4pm. Tickets for this raffle are already on sale with F.A.C.E. committee members and are available at €1 each or a book of five tickets for €4 and will continue to be available, unless tickets run out, right up until the draw itself.
