“It’s the road with all the tunnels on it” I tell my partner as we set off on lovely La Palma around ten in the morning.
The locals have several nicknames for the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, including FV which is often seen emblazoned across t-shirts, caps and bumper stickers – all proclaiming ‘I Love FV’.
